Biography
Born in 1987, Nadya Janitra was introduced to music at the age of 4 by her mother, Susiana Adhitjan. Nadya attended Sekolah Musik YPM at the of 5 to learn the piano under the guidance of Linny Sugianto. During her education, Nadya was recognized for his piano playing. She graduated from Persiapan Konservatorium 3 level with the YPM Artist Award in 2004.
After completing Pendidikan Keguruan 4 program under the guidance of Aisha Ariadna Pletscher, Nadya worked as a teaching staff at Sekolah Musik YPM for 2 years. During her activity as a teacher, she had attended an summer course of International Piano Festival at Paris, France and Toledo, Spain. She also attended many masterclass and workshop training with well known pianists, such as Reynaldo Reyes, Janusz Olenjniczak, Adela Martin, Akiko Ebi, Ramzi Yassa, Solomon Mikowsky, Kwang-Wu Kim, David Kuijken, Rian de Waal, Naum Grubert and Paul Baruda-Skoda.
Then in 2007, she entered to Royal Conservatory of The Hague for a bachelor of music degree she received in 2011. During her education there, she studied to one of the Osiris Trio member, Ellen Corver. Nadya also received a professional training to accompany singers and other melody instrument players by Hans Eijsackers and Han-Louis Meijer.
Actually, Nadya already had her first solo concert at the age of 16 at Embassy of Netherlands in Indonesia. Earlier today, Nadya has held many solo concert, such as "Dari Kita untuk Kita" at SMYPM Bintaro, Indonesia (2009), "Resital Piano Tunggal Nadya Janitra" at Goethe Haus, Jakarta (2010), "Konser Piano Tunggal" at Auditorium ISI, Yogyakarta, "East Meets Wests" at Erasmus Huis, Jakarta (2011), "Pertemuan Musik Surabaya 54" at Melodia Music Hall, Surabaya (2011), and "Klasik sampai Indonesia Mutakhir" at Tembi Rumah Budaya, Jogjakarta (2011). During her education at The Hague, she also has held many solo concerts that took place at Boskantkerk (2009), Centrale Bibliotheek (2010) and Triumfatorkerk (2009 - 2011).
In 2010, Nadya was chosen to fill the pianist spot in the Saxophone Concert Tour 2010 in Netherlands. Then she was chosen again to be a pianist in Lisztomania which organized by Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory to present the works of a Hungarian composer and pianist Franz Liszt. In the same year, Nadya formed a classical music group with Raphaella Engelsberg (violin) and Eduard Ninot Roig (Cello), called Faure Trio.
